This course teaches licensed therapists about the concept of the “Inner Child” and its importance in working with children and adults and how to employ CBT, DBT and IFS alongside this identified part of individual clients.
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop, participants will be able to:
Explain the origins and therapeutic function of the inner child.
Apply CBT techniques to address inner child-related beliefs.
Utilize DBT tools to build emotional regulation and reparenting capacity.
Integrate IFS interventions to safely explore wounded inner child parts.
Identify ethical boundaries and cultural considerations in inner child work.
This course has been approved for 5 Core CE Hours through LPCGA.
