Young Adult Therapy

Leaving your childhood home can be an exciting time, but also one filled with great anxiety and stress. It is an age referred to as young adulthood where you are no longer treated like a child, but also not yet treated like an adult. It is a period of great transition and filled with questions about your lives and the direction, you are headed in your social, academic, and professional life.

At Rise, we help young adults explore their identity, their values, and their interests to begin answering some of these difficult questions. Our goal is to create a safe place where young adults can feel less isolated and more supported.

Here are some questions you may be struggling with:

  • What do I want to do with my life?
  • Do I want to be in a relationship right now?
  • Do I really want to go to college?
  • This is my freshman year, why do I feel so stuck and hopeless?
  • How am I going to make it in the real world without my family?
  • How do I know I am where I am supposed to be?
  • How do I be independent when I still rely on my parents for everything?
