Frequently Asked Questions

  • What types of therapy do you offer?

At Rise Therapy Center, we offer a wide range of therapy services to clients of all ages, including individual counseling, couples therapy, family therapy, and group therapy sessions. Our experienced therapists in Roswell specialize in various treatment approaches to address mental health concerns.

  • What can I expect during my first therapy session?

Your first session, often called an intake session, involves discussing your reasons for seeking therapy, your personal history, and your goals. It's also an opportunity to ask questions and determine if the therapist is a good fit for you.

  • How long does each therapy session last?

While each intake session is allotted 60 minutes, our individual therapy sessions typically last 50 minutes, but we can accommodate longer sessions if needed.

  • How do I find the best therapist near me for my needs?

Our intake specialists can help match you with the best therapist based on your specific concerns, preferences, availability, and goals. We aim to ensure a good fit between each client and our therapists.

  • Do you accept insurance?

Rise Therapy Center is an out-of-network provider with many insurance companies, which means that we do not bill insurance companies directly. Your counseling services may be eligible for reimbursement through out-of-network benefits, medical spending (FSAs), or health savings accounts (HSAs). Health insurance plans and benefits vary. If you are interested in using your health insurance, please call your insurance provider to inquire about reimbursement for out-of-network counseling services.

  • How do I get reimbursed through my insurance?

Our Practice Director will provide you with a document on request called a "superbill," which is like an invoice but contains the service codes, dates of treatment, and monies paid for therapy. You would submit this to your plan directly, and your plan would reimburse you directly.

  • Do any therapists offer reduced rates?

Our interns provide therapy services at a reduced rate of $95 per session. Call our office to get on their schedule!

    Our current intern is: Allison.

  • Do you have a cancellation policy?

Our therapists have a 24-business-hour cancellation policy. You will be responsible for an entire session fee if the change is made in a less than 24-business-hours' notice. Exceptions may be made for emergencies—such as sudden illness or accident—at our therapists’ discretion. It should be noted that insurance does not reimburse for cancelled sessions, and HSA and FSA cards can't be used in these cases.

  • How are my records stored?

We utilize a HIPAA-compliant, encrypted, electronic medical record called TherapyAppointment that safely holds all of our clients' mental health records. Our client portal allows you to fill in demographic information, access your paperwork, and schedule sessions. You can also find the portal login at the top of our website.
