Accepting New Clients!
Madison works from an eclectic group of evidence-based treatments but finds herself most drawn to Person-Centered Approaches, Internal Family Systems (IFS), Inner Child Work, and Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT). She enjoys working with a wide range of clients, ages 4–100, who are navigating challenges such as:
- Breaking cycles and patterns
- Overthinking and racing thoughts
- Feeling lost or without direction
- Perfectionism and people pleasing
- Low self-esteem and self-worth concerns
- Mind-body connection
- Young adult transitions
- Identifying and shifting core beliefs
- Reunification Therapy for high-conflict families
What Madison is most passionate about is helping clients get to the root of their struggles. She has a particular interest in uncovering the core beliefs and protective systems that often keep people feeling stuck, repeating the same patterns, or struggling to build momentum in life.
Madison holds a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from the University of North Georgia and brings her own lived experience with anxiety into her work. This gives her a compassionate and grounded perspective in helping individuals of all ages navigate worries, self-doubt, and stress.
What sets Madison apart is her ability to create a safe, comfortable, and creative space for clients. Recognizing that traditional therapy formats may not resonate with everyone, she embraces a casual and outside-the-box approach. This allows clients to explore their emotions and inner world in ways that feel authentic and empowering.
A Few Words From Madison:
Hey! I am Madison. I am so glad you’re considering working with me. I enjoy helping people identify their true potential away from what they have been told from their family, society, and sometimes even themselves. Our minds can be a messy place and sometimes all we need is a guide to help us untangle and explore. Think of me like a Jungle Cruise Skipper, just with your thoughts, feelings, and emotions.
Life can be so messy, and honestly pretty isolating. We can get so caught up in our heads that it makes us feel as if we can’t share what’s really going on out of fear that they will judge us, view us differently, or be unaccepting. That’s what’s beautiful about therapy. It is the one place that you get to be 100% open and be 100% you, without fearing the consequences of judgment. I strive to make therapy feel like a safe place where vulnerability can bloom. Sure, it can be so scary to open up to others but wouldn’t it be nice to let go of some of the burden? Aren’t you tired of doing it all alone. Your therapist gets to be someone that is solely focused on you and to help you navigate the scariness of vulnerability and what to do in the face of being overwhelmed by it all.
“Worrying does not take away tomorrow’s troubles. It takes away today’s peace.”
