Summary:
This course informs therapists and parents about Pathological Demand Avoidance and how to identify, work with and move through the difficulties and pitfalls that can occur in the home and therapeutic room.
Objectives:
By the end of this workshop:
- Therapist will gain an understanding of PDA and how it presents in children and teens. 
- Therapist will be equipped with skills to help facilitate therapy sessions and integrate interventions to address and decrease PDA. 
- Therapist will gain skills on how to aid and support the family system in integrating interventions in the home environment. 
This course has been approved for 3 Core CE Hours through LPCGA.
