Social Skills Summer Camp - Coed ages 6-8
Building Connections, Building Confidence… A day camp for friends, feelings, and FUN!
Rise is offering a unique summer day camp designed and run by Licensed Professional Counselors to help children develop and strengthen their social skills. In a way that is FUN and authentic, kids will have the chance to play and build relationships with one another in a real-life environment. Campers will learn essential skills for building friendships, navigating social situations, and managing emotions.
Many parents seek therapeutic support with social skills for their kids and know the power of actual peer interaction outside of an office. Rise is pleased to help meet this need by cultivating a therapeutically supported space for kids to learn and practice social skills with other kids, not just individual therapists, family members, etc.
This coed group of 6-8 year olds (approximately rising first and second graders) is aimed at preparing kids for the upcoming school year by providing a transition back to routine and structure, encouraging peer interaction and teamwork and getting a refresh of social skills before school starts.
Who We Help:
This camp is perfect for children ages 6-8 who may:
Have difficulty making or keeping friends
Struggle with shyness or social anxiety
Have trouble with teamwork or cooperation
Be diagnosed with ADHD or Autism Level 1
Need support with emotional regulation
Benefit from practicing communication and problem-solving skills
What We Offer:
Through a variety of interactive activities, games, and group discussions, campers will learn to:
Improve verbal and nonverbal communication skills
Develop empathy and understanding of others
Practice assertiveness and conflict resolution
Learn how to manage and express emotions appropriately
Build self-confidence and self-esteem
Enhance problem-solving and decision-making skills
Led by Experts:
Our camp is led by experienced Rise therapists who are professional counselors that are passionate about helping children thrive. Kaylee Finlay and Madison Reed specialize in kids and teens and have helped countless families at Rise over the years. They bring expertise in working with students in both individual and group settings. Your kids will love their warm, patient, and often goofy selves, too! They make every child feel comfortable being themselves and learning new skills and know how to make lessons engaging and kid-approved!

July 28th-August 1st: Coed ages 6-8 (approx. grades 1st-2nd) with Kaylee and Madison
The camp days run from 9am to 2pm. Campers will bring a packed lunch from home.
Cost:
$800 for current clients at Rise Therapy Center
$950 for new clients. This includes an intake session to ensure correct fit for the group.
Depending on your out-of-network health benefits, you may be reimbursed up to $450 by your insurance provider. We will provide itemized receipts with applicable CPT codes for you to submit to insurance upon request. Payment plans may be available. Please call our office for more information.
After your purchase, a Rise staff member will reach out to you in 2-3 business days to set up an intake session for your child. Please be on the lookout for calls and emails from Rise in the coming days.
Cancellation Policy:
Free cancellation for up to 30 days before the group start date. If you cancel prior to two weeks before the group start date, you will receive 50% of the cost back. Cancellations with less than two weeks notice will not be given a refund. Please understand that we build these groups with certain campers and group sizes in mind, and knowing how many campers we have is vital to our curriculum and preparation. We appreciate your commitment to your child's participation.
