Mandie Moore, MSN, LMSW, is honored to support individuals and families through life’s challenges. She understands that reaching out for help can feel overwhelming and believes therapy should be a space where clients feel safe, supported, understood, and genuinely cared for. Her clinical background in nursing and as a therapist allows her to bring a unique, holistic perspective to care, considering not only emotional and mental health needs, but the whole person and the systems in which they live. She holds a Master’s degree in Nursing from Emory University and a Master’s in Social Work from the University of Kentucky.
Mandie works with individuals ages 4 and up, including children, adolescents, young adults, adults, and families. She has experience supporting clients through a wide range of challenges, including anxiety, depression, trauma, emotional regulation difficulties, behavioral concerns, relationship challenges, life transitions, stress, burnout, and family conflict. She is passionate about helping children and adolescents better understand their emotions, build confidence, strengthen coping skills, and feel more successful both at home and in everyday life. She also values supporting parents and caregivers as they navigate the complexities of parenting, communication, and family dynamics.
Mandie enjoys working with young adults and adults who may be struggling with self-esteem, identity development, stress, trauma, difficult life experiences, or major transitions. In addition, she has a special interest in supporting neurodivergent individuals and those with developmental disabilities, while helping families better understand and support their loved ones’ unique strengths and needs.
Mandie believes therapy should feel collaborative and individualized—not a one-size-fits-all approach. She strives to meet clients exactly where they are and tailors therapy to best fit their unique goals, challenges, and strengths. She integrates a variety of therapeutic approaches because every person’s journey is different, and she believes treatment should reflect that individuality.
Her approach is holistic, compassionate, and strengths-based, with a focus on helping clients build confidence, strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical tools they can use in everyday life. Mandie believes meaningful growth happens through authentic connection, trust, and feeling empowered throughout the therapeutic process. She truly values the privilege of walking alongside her clients and supporting them on their journey toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.
A Few Words From Mandie:
Taking the first step toward therapy is often the hardest part, and I deeply respect the courage it takes to reach out. I know that beginning therapy or seeking support can feel intimidating, and I want you to know that you do not have to navigate life’s challenges alone. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment, pressure, or expectations. I believe healing and growth begin with feeling safe, heard, and understood, and I strive to meet every client exactly where they are. Whether you are navigating anxiety, trauma, stress, family challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling overwhelmed, I am here to walk alongside you with compassion, support, and encouragement.
I truly believe that every person has unique strengths, experiences, and needs, which is why I take an individualized and collaborative approach to therapy. I enjoy working with children, adolescents, adults, and families, and I value helping clients build confidence, strengthen relationships, improve emotional regulation, and develop practical tools they can carry into everyday life. I also believe that progress does not have to be perfect to be meaningful, and I strive to help clients recognize and celebrate growth in all forms, even in the small steps forward. My approach is holistic and strengths-based, focusing not only on the challenges you may be facing, but also on the resilience, abilities, and support systems you already possess. I want clients to leave sessions feeling empowered, supported, and better equipped to navigate life with confidence and self-understanding. My hope is that therapy feels empowering, supportive, and meaningful for you, and I would genuinely value the privilege of being part of your journey toward healing, growth, and overall well-being.
