Reaching the Implicit: Inner Child Work, Brain-Based Memory & Emerging Modalities

$0.00

3 CE Course Hours Live Synchronous

Presented by Cristine Seidell, LPC, CCH and Madison Reed, LPC, NCC

Presentation Dates:

Time: 9am-12pm

Friday, November 13, 2026

Summary:

Why do some clients gain insight… but still can’t shift?

This training explores the deeper layer beneath cognition — the implicit memory system, where early attachment experiences are stored in the body and nervous system. You’ll learn how these patterns show up as the “inner child” in your clinical work and why traditional talk therapy alone may not create lasting change.

We’ll walk through a simple, practical framework for helping clients move from awareness into transformation using experiential, bottom-up approaches. You’ll be introduced to tools like Brainspotting and hypnotherapy as accessible ways to reach implicit material, along with a grounded discussion of how psychedelic-assisted psychotherapy may expand neuroplasticity when used ethically and appropriately.

This is a gentle, clinically grounded training designed to help you work more effectively with clients who feel stuck — and to deepen your own understanding of how real change happens in the nervous system.

Objectives:

By the end of this workshop:

  1. Therapist will explain how implicit memory contributes to treatment resistance.

  2. Therapist can identify one bottom-up intervention for implicit access.

  3. Therapist will describe how altered states (Brainspotting, hypnotherapy, psychedelics) may enhance neuroplasticity.

This course will be approved for 3 Core CE Hours through LPCGA.

Details of access to be emailed after order is confirmed.
